2022 Acrylic and metal leaf 38x38 cm, cotton canvas
The Golden Tree emerged during a painting course in the summer of 2022. It started as a fun exploration of liquid acrylic paint (tree top) blended with thick layer of normal paint (tree bole). To emphaise the bole, metallic leafs where brushed on.
2022 Acrylic and grass 36x28 cm, cotton canvas
The Frozen Grass landscape is painted on top of a edged surface, using only 2 base colors. The grass straws are real grass glued on top of the canvas. A few subtle brush strokes with metallic acrylic paint makes the surface shimmer.

I was asked if I could paint a large picture with water/archipelago theme. Inspired by a picture in a magagazine, this backlight picture evolved. Kvällsol is swedish for evening sun.
2023 Acrylic and sand 84x65 cm, cotton canvas
This painting has a base of sand, giving it a rough texture. It actually started out in yellow, orange and brown and with a completely different motive in mind. After a cote of white the water mirror in blue shades evolved.
Painting and crafting has been a big part of my life since I was a toddler in the mid seventie's.
For many years I was very devoted to
aquarelle painting, but tried out acrylic painting in the beginning of the pandemic.
Exalted by being unfettered, the acrylic paint has now become my faivourite medium.
With acrylics I explore paths and expressions not avaialable within aquarelle painting.
